I wish I had a better resolution of the second one. (If you have one send to me and I’ll post it.) I really like how they put the lightweight oblique typeface on top of the black typeface. As soon as I saw this I was reminded of one of Hoefler & Free-Jones’ promotional images for their new typeface Archer. The image I’m talking about can be found here. (The “z” in the upper right corner.) My bet is that Hoefler & Free-Jones both have boners for classic 80s films.
