Today, I pulled two random zines out of my collection to post. The first is a zine I’ve had lying around for awhile, RRR.001.

“We make waste for a living. So now we’re gonna make waste live.”
This line describes RRR.001 perfectly. For the most part the zine is a collection of things made from waste. There’s a lot of forgotten doodles, cut up photographs, and re-purposed projects. Basically it’s zine full of recycled art. It’s a really big zine and features too many artists to name. It’s co-published by Untitled Publishing, printed on recycled paper, and limited to a 1,000 copies.
It’s a great zine and I recommend you pick it up if you get a chance. It’s awesome to see people make something out of waste. The zine is only fifteen bones and they are already working on a second one. Also, I encourage you to make some recycled art of your own and submit it to the RRR Flickr Group.

Society for Scientific Inquiry of Paranormal Atmospheric and Cosmic Anomalies is the best Christmas present I got this weekend. I first heard of this zine on For Print Only, and immediately knew I wanted it.

There are many reasons why I wanted this dope zine, but the top two are it’s about UFOs and it’s full of infographics. The number of Americans who believe they have been abducted, number of UFO Shapes reported in 2008, and the number of sightings a month are some of the inographics featured in the zine.
Among the infographics are various articles, quotes, illustrations, and photos dealing with UFOs. More often than not these articles, photos, and illustrations are distorted and blacked-out. This gives the viewer the feeling that we don’t have all the information, something that fits the zine really well.
You can pick up a copy of the zine on Vanessa Lam’s site for five bones.

The Universe Is A Little To Big is a small zine by Mike Perry. The zine is basically a tiny version of Mike Perry’s Giant Zine.
