Moved To Tumblr
Super Duper has officially moved to tumblr. For new posts head over there.
This weekend I had a chance to check out the Marvel Comics app, and I’ve came to the conclusion that it’s a pretty cool app. Here’s some things you might want to know about the app: comics cost 2 bones, 500 comics are in the store right now, you can download six free comics, and the app doesn’t support your Digital Comic Subscription.
I’ve read the two of the free Amazing Spider-Man comics, and they were pretty dope. I really liked how they show each frame individually, not allowing you to accidentally peak at what your about to read. I think the app is a great alternative to the print editions, but I do think the app would be a zillion times better if when you bought the print edition of the comic you go the digital for free. Check the app out if your into comics.

Check out this video review of the app for the iPad:
I’ve came across two really awesome Kickstarter projects recently. One for Diamond Comics 5 and one for Jess Smart Smiley’s A Map In The Dirt.

If you’ve been reading the blog for awhile now, you probably already know that I am a huge fan of Diamond Comics. Diamond Comics is a zine curated by Jason Leivian the owner of Floating World Comics. The zine features a nice mixture of comics and art, check out my previous posts on Diamond Comics for more info on the zine. For the fifth issue Jason is looking to expand the number of copies printed from 2,000 to 10,000. If you donate some bones, you get various rewards.

A Map in the Dirt is a comic by Jess Smart Smiley. Jess is looking for some cash to get her comic printed. You might recognize Jess’ work from Free Doodles III. As usual when you throw some bones down you get a reward.
Dancing pizza man and toppings. Kooky characters like this are amazing. Enjoy
I’ve been a big Simpsons fan for about a zillion years now. It’s great that they’re still going. Below is an ad that aired during the Super Bowl that featured them. Stoked on The Simpsons for life.
