Gym Class Magazine recently posted these on his blog. They’re photos of the houses used for the original A Nightmare On Elm Street and Halloween. These were taken in 2008, and it’s awesome to see what the houses look like these days. It looks like they’ve aged pretty well. I’m a pretty big horror film fan, especially the Nightmare on Elm Street series, so I couldn’t pass up posting these.

By the way if your a Scream fan, you should check out the poster for Scream 4. Super stoked to see Scream 4 when it comes out.

Kick-Ass

Kick-Ass is amazing! I had a chance to see it last week at sneak peak. The premise of the film is magical: normal people decide to become super heroes.

This could wind up being my favorite flick of the summer. Characters are awesome, the story is awesome, it’s funny, and has some sweet action. Matthew Vaughn directs, so if you’re a fan of Layer Cake or Stardust you will enjoy this film. It comes out this Friday, check it out.

Tim Gambrill tweeted about this earlier today. It’s a rad animation by Tilles Singer compiled from skateboard pictures from various magazines. It’s really neat when people find creative uses for things lying around their living room.

This video is a couple weeks old but still amazing. I picked up Plastic Beach yesterday it’s an amazing album. Phase 3 is shaping up to be an amazing one. If you live on Mars and have never heard of the Gorillaz, you should really check them out.

Found this awesome video on Vimeo the other day. It’s a short webisode promoting the film Rip City. Rip City is a film about skateboarders in Portland. I haven’t seen it, probably never will. This webisode promoting the film is pretty dope though. Check out what this skater does to kill time:

ODDSAC Trailer

I am a huge Animal Collective fan! Which is why I am super excited about their new visual album, ODDSAC, that just premiered at Sundance. Check out the trailer for the film below.

As you can see from the trailer the film looks super experimental. It’s described as a visual album, so I am not sure if there will be a plot. Either way it’s Animal Collective, so it’s guaranteed to be packed full of eye candy and radical music.
